Product Overview

The MED TECH Vacuum Spine Immobilizer / Vacuum Extrication Vest Complete Set – MT90100 provides EMS and rescue teams with a compact vacuum immobilization system designed for patient support during vehicle extrication, confined-space rescue and emergency transport.

The complete set includes the Vacuum Extrication Vest (VEV) / Vacuum Spine Immobilizer (VSI) – MT80100, a Small Hand-Operated Vacuum Pump – MT61000, and a fitted Cordura Nylon Carrying Case – MT51413.

Unlike a rigid extrication device, the VEV/VSI remains flexible while being positioned around the patient. Once the desired position is achieved, air is removed and the internal bead-filled chamber system becomes firm, helping provide controlled torso and spinal support during extrication and patient movement.
