The MED TECH Pediatric Extremity Vacuum Splint – DL20004 is designed specifically for immobilization of injured pediatric extremities during emergency medical care, rescue and patient transport.

The splint remains soft and flexible during application, allowing responders to carefully wrap and mold it around a child's injured limb. Once positioned and secured, air is removed through the vacuum valve and the internal bead-filled chambers become firm, helping maintain the desired immobilization shape.

MED TECH's multi-chamber vacuum design helps distribute the internal beads throughout the splint rather than allowing them to collect in one area, providing more consistent support around smaller extremities.

Easy Vacuum Splint Application

Position the flexible splint around the suspected injury while minimizing movement of the patient's extremity. Secure the attached straps, then connect a compatible MED TECH vacuum pump to the valve and remove air until the splint becomes firm.

Once evacuated, the splint maintains the molded shape around the injured extremity. The straps can be readjusted as needed to provide an appropriate fit during patient movement and transport.
