A non-adherent knitted gauze impregnated with a petrolatum and sunflower oil in an emulsion blend. These conformable, non-occlusive dressings allow exudate to flow away from the wound into a secondary dressing, minimizing skin maceration.

The Oil Emulsion Dressing, 5" x 9" is a non-adherent wound contact dressing designed to protect fragile tissue while maintaining a moist wound-healing environment. Impregnated with an oil emulsion, this dressing helps prevent adherence to the wound surface, allowing for gentle, atraumatic removal during dressing changes.

Ideal for use on burns, skin grafts, donor sites, surgical wounds, abrasions, and lacerations, the open-weave gauze construction allows exudate to pass through to a secondary absorbent dressing while keeping the wound surface protected. This helps minimize pain, tissue disruption, and dressing trauma.

Commonly used in hospitals, surgical centers, long-term care facilities, and home care settings, the larger 5" x 9" size provides excellent coverage for moderate to larger wounds and elongated incision sites.

Oil Emulsion dressings are non-occlusive primary dressings best suited for low exuding wounds including donor sites, lacerations, skin grafts and abrasions. Best used beneath an absorbent secondary dressing for wound stages 2, 3 and 4.
