Product details

MDI Spacers Inhalator is an add-on device used to increase the ease of administering aerosolized medication from a metered-dose inhaler (MDI). The spacer adds space in the form of a tube or “chamber” between the canister of medication and the patient’s mouth, allowing the patient to inhale the medication by breathing in slowly and deeply for 5 to 10 breaths. MDI Spacers Inhalator | 180 cc

The MDI Spacer Inhalator 004-1400A is a respiratory holding chamber designed to optimize the delivery of aerosolized medication from metered-dose inhalers (MDIs). By providing a space between the inhaler and the patient's mouth, it allows for better coordination and more effective medication delivery to the lungs.

Key Features:

  • Enhanced Medication Delivery: Improves the deposition of medication in the lungs by reducing the velocity of the aerosol, allowing for deeper inhalation.

  • User-Friendly Design: Simple to assemble and use, making it suitable for patients of all ages, including children and the elderly.

  • Portable and Lightweight: Compact design ensures ease of transport, facilitating consistent use at home or on the go.

  • Durable Construction: Made from high-quality materials to withstand regular use and cleaning.

Specifications:

  • Model Number: 004-1400A

  • Compatibility: Designed for use with standard metered-dose inhalers.

  • Material: Medical-grade, latex-free plastic.

  • Dimensions: Approximately 180cc chamber capacity.

Usage Instructions:

  1. Remove the caps from both the inhaler and the spacer.

  2. Shake the inhaler well before use.

  3. Insert the inhaler into the back of the spacer.

  4. Place the mouthpiece of the spacer into your mouth, ensuring a tight seal.

  5. Press down on the inhaler to release the medication into the spacer.

  6. Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth.

  7. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.

  8. If a second dose is required, wait about 30 seconds and repeat the steps.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Disassemble the spacer.

  • Wash all parts in warm, soapy water.

  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reassembling.

Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain hygiene and ensure optimal performance.
