Discreetly placed into the rear pocket of the MERET backpack system, this protection is positioned to defend your vital chest region when approached from behind. The backpacks can also be worn across the front of the body for similar protection if the threat is forward.

The MERET M4L BALLISTIC ARMOR™ is a semi-rigid protective panel designed to shield vital areas from ballistic threats. Weighing only 0.87 lbs and measuring 9" x 12" with a thickness of 0.24", it offers Level IIIA protection (NIJ 0108.01) against 9mm Luger 124gr FMJ and .44 Magnum 240gr Lead SWC GC rounds.
