Description
- Well-developed male left arm is cast from life with durable silicone skin and flexible wrist
- Pronounced veins in the antecubital fossa region of the forearm and back of the hand
- Administer IV injections and infusions
- Perform intravenous cannulation on the back of the hand or forearm
- Set up and monitor infusions including application of dressings to secure cannula in place
- Withdraw blood from closed blood system using syringe or Vacutainer®
- A realistic sensation is felt when skin and vein are penetrated
- A realistic "flashback" confirms correct needle location in the vein when withdrawing artificial blood
- Continuous vein system and 2-bottle sealed blood assembly greatly reduce the risk of leakage
- Working veins are made from a material with self-sealing characteristics that can be penetrated many times

- Automatic pressure relief valve
- Includes arm with rest, 2 blood bottle assemblies, 2 blanking plugs for transportation, blood concentrate to make up 2.5 liters of artificial blood, lubricant, instruction manual, and rigid carrying bag
- NOTE: 21 gauge or smaller cannula and needles must be used for practice on the arm
