Directions for use:

 

  1. Ensure the cylinder is upright

 

  1. Make sure the regulator dial is set to “0”

 

 

  1. Unwind the metal “T” screw until regulator can slide over post

 

  1. Line up the 2 pins on regulator with the 2 holes on the post

 

 

  1. Tighten “T” screw on the regulator until tight, but do not use force

 

  1. Attach tubing to nipple on regulator and other end to masks, cannulas, or BVMs

 

 

  1. Use the wrench to open the post on the cylinder to release the flow of oxygen (1 or 2 turns will suffice)

 

  1. Set the black dial on the regulator to the flow rate that is recommended by the doctor or EMS technician

 

  1. Start oxygen therapy

 

 

  1. When finished, shut off the main valve on post with wrench.

 

  1. Turn regulator dial back to “0”
