Eye in Orbit 7-Part

[SKU: SB41431]

This large anatomical human eye model shows the optic nerve in its natural position in the bony orbit of the eye (floor and medial wall).

At three times life size, this model is great for anatomical demonstrations.

The human eyeball can be dissected into the following:

  • Both halves of sclera with cornea and eye muscle attachments
  • Lens
  • Vitreous humour
  • Both halves of choroid with iris and retina
  • Optic nerve in its position in the bony orbit (floor and medial wall)

Model size: 7 in. x 10-1/4 in. x 7-1/2 in.

The Nasco Healthcare Eye in Orbit 7‑Part (SB41431) is a detailed, oversized anatomical model—three times life-sized—perfect for advanced teaching and demonstration. It showcases the eyeball in situ within the bony orbit, including the optic nerve positioned against the orbital floor and medial wall.

Students can fully disassemble the eyeball into seven pieces:

  • Two scleral halves with cornea and extraocular muscle attachments

  • Isolated lens

  • Vitreous humor

  • Two choroid and retina halves with iris

  • Optic nerve in natural orientation within the orbit

Mounted on a base measuring approximately 7″ × 10¼″ × 7½″, this model is ideal for classrooms, labs, and patient education settings.
