Staplers

Staplers are surgical instruments used to close wounds or surgical incisions quickly and securely. They are commonly used in procedures where a large amount of tissue needs to be closed, such as in abdominal or thoracic surgeries. Staplers work by deploying rows of metal staples across the wound, which hold the tissue together while it heals. Compared to traditional sutures, staplers can reduce the time required for wound closure and may provide a more consistent closure strength. However, they are not suitable for all types of wounds and are typically used in conjunction with other wound closure techniques.
