Spectrometer S

Robust spectrometer for investigating the visible spectrum between 360 and 940 nm. Its removable cover allows students to see first-hand the spectrum analysis process.  A specially selected transmission grating and precision slit gives high resolution and excellent results. Data collection software is intuitive with real-time graphical output (no time tracking of lines). For easier interpretation of the spectrum, each wave band is shaded with the corresponding color. The spectrum can be viewed either as a graph or data table. The availability of several toolbars makes it possible to set the spectrometer parameters to exactly fit the requirements of the experiment. Spectra 1 is supplied ready to use: the unit is tested and calibrated before shipment. Unit is not suitable for absorption spectroscopy and laptop not included.
