Family: Liliaceae Monocotyledonous

Lily grasses are characterized by underground stems called bulbs that vegetatively reproduce. Likewise their large funnel-shaped flowers are two sets of three sepals in radially symmetrical whorles. The inner circle is produced by two sets of three detachable stamina. The inner chasm is painted a delightful gradient starting in red shifting to yellow finally to finish in a deep black. This colorful, large flower is adapted to insect pollination. Onion (Allium cepa) and the White lily (Lilium candidum) have similar flower shapes.

The Tulip Flower (Tulipa gesneriana) Model (005-1017832) is a highly detailed, enlarged botanical model that illustrates the floral anatomy of the tulip, a monocotyledonous plant. This model clearly shows the petals, sepals, stamens, anthers, and ovary, providing an excellent teaching aid for studying the reproductive structures and processes of flowering plants.

Designed for biology and botany education, it helps students explore the morphology of monocot flowers and understand pollination, fertilization, and seed formation. The enlarged design makes it easier to observe fine details that are otherwise difficult to see in real specimens.

Durable and easy to handle, the Tulip Flower Model is perfect for classrooms, laboratories, and universities, supporting both introductory and advanced studies in plant biology.
