C-Type Handle & Li-ion Technology
The included C-Type Handle is designed for the use with ri-accu® L Li-ion battery. The Li-ion technology ensures a higher loading capacity and stable performance even after over 1.000 charge cycles. This means a superb battery longevity and even a lighter battery weight. The Handle is equipped with rheotronic® function that enables a continuously variable electronic light intensity adjustment. In addition, the Handle is made of a solid metal with chrome plated finish that ensure outstanding durability.

LED Technology Advantages
Some Ri-scope® L Ophthalmoscope and Otoscope models offered are assembled with LEDs that provide numerous advantages to the user and are a great alternative to the conventional Xenon lights. Since LED lamps have an almost unlimited life time, they classify as maintenance-free units and their use leads to low running costs. In addition, LED lights feature the highest luminosity, heat-free performance and provide true-colors which greatly benefits the diagnosis efficiency.

Ri-Scope® L3 LED 3.5V Otoscope
The Ri-Scope® L3 LED Otoscope features an advanced fiberoptics that ensures optimal beaming and light transmission, while the bi-directional swivelling, sealing optical glass provides a 3-fold magnification. The integrated F.O. throat illuminator allows for a more thorough examination, efficient diagnostic and better patient outcome. The SpecEject® device allows to safely dispose the used cannula eliminating the risks of cross contamination and all with just a push of a button. Another L3 distinctive feature is the 4 times magnifying operation lense that comes with the purchase. In addition, the unit is suitable for pneumatic tests.

Optional Ri-scope® L2 Xenon/LED 3.5V Ophthalmoscope
The Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope is offered in two configurations with Xenon or LED illumination. Both models feature an advanced dioptre wheel with a total of 29 corrective lenses that include +1-10, +12, +15, +20, +40 and -1-10, -15, -20, -25, -30, -35. The easy-to-use aperture hand wheel allows switching between 6 apertures that are semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star and slit. The filter wheel works for all apertures and has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter and polarization filter. All Ri-scope® L Ophthalmoscope models are equipped with an outstanding, high-performance optics that feature aspherical condenser lens. The specialty optics ensures reduced reflection effect, while the separation of the parallel observation and illumination beams help avoid corneal and iris reflexes. Ri-scope® L allows precise diagnostics even with narrow pupils since the illuminated retinal area is fully visible. All Ri-scope® L models are dust proof ensuring a trouble-free operation.
