Big Ben by Riester is a sturdy high grade aneroid sphygmomanometer. It is large and well made for the rush of everyday hospital and clinical situations. Big ben is available as a wall mount or a mobile device with an attractive square face.
This model has generous dimensions and a high contrast scale layout for optimum readability. The scale goes up to 300 mmHg. The monitor features a precision mechanism that is mounted on a special support in order to ensure complete stability of the measuring system and the zero point.
The release valve is made from non-wearing material and can be finely adjusted. It features a micro filter to protect the valve and measurement system. The machine can withstand pressures up to 600 mm Hg due to the special hardened copper beryllium membrane. This membrane is resistant to aging.
The bulb used to inflate the cuff is latex free. Big ben features a spacious basket in the back to store tubes and cuffs. The wall model is ideal for a hospital room, it can swivel 65 degrees to the right and to the left. It features a glass fiber reinforced wall bracket for maximum strength. The floor model features a 35" - 55" powder coated steel stand with five casters. The base of the stand is 14.9 inches in diameter.
