Product details

Wallcur's Practi-Sodium Bicarbonate™ 4.2% (5 mEq/mL) in a 10 mL pre-filled syringe, simulates a commonly administered hypertonic solution of sodium bicarbonate in water as an electrolyte replenisher and systemic alkalizer in infants. Each syringe is pre-filled with distilled water, and is clearly marked and bar coded for easy identification and verification. The syringe has a luer tip that fits entry ports into IV tubing or to attach to companion needles for a more complete practice.

NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL USE. FOR TRAINING PURPOSES ONLY.

The Practi-Sodium Bicarbonate™ 4.2% I.V. Code Med Infant Dose (for training) 1519B is a non-medicated simulation vial designed to replicate the infant dose of sodium bicarbonate used in emergency code situations. This training tool is ideal for nursing, pharmacy, and allied health education programs focused on safe medication handling and precise dosing for pediatric patients.

Each simulated vial accurately reflects the size, labeling, and appearance of the real sodium bicarbonate infant dose, allowing learners to practice aseptic technique, dosage calculation, and preparation skills in a risk-free environment. It is perfect for skills labs, classroom demonstrations, and competency assessments where pediatric emergency medication training is required.

By using this product, students gain confidence and competence in handling critical care medications safely before transitioning to real clinical practice.
