Baseline® HiRes™ Plastic Absolute+Axis™ Goniometer - 360 Degree Head - 12 inch Arms has an integrated Absolute+Axis™ at the end of one arm. The HiRes™ design ads a white line behind measurement gradations to make the readings easy to see.

The Absolute+Axis™ (AA) goniometer establishes a ¬ìtrue¬î vertical or horizontal to the start point of a measurement. Many goniometric measurements require one arm of the goniometer to be positioned either horizontally or vertically. The other arm is then lined-up with the patient¬ís body part. Until now, the practitioner had to ¬ìassume¬î or ¬ìeyeball¬î the vertical or horizontal position. This interpolation is often incorrect and introduces measurement error. The Absolute+Axis™ goniometer removes measurement variability and allows the practitioner to concentrate on correct placement of the other goniometer arm and the patient's body position. Some measurements the AA goniometer is designed to improve are: shoulder and hip rotation (internal, external); cervical flexion, extension, rotation and side bending; hamstring flexibility; and active ROM

The Baseline Absolute Axis 360° Hi-Res Goniometer, 12" (005-1013991) is a precision instrument designed for highly accurate measurement of joint range of motion (ROM) in rehabilitation, therapy, and clinical settings. Featuring a high-resolution scale, this goniometer allows for finer measurement increments, providing clinicians and therapists with detailed data for patient assessment and progress tracking.

Its absolute axis design ensures that the device does not require manual zeroing before each use, offering reliable and consistent readings every time. The 360-degree rotation capability and 12-inch arms make it suitable for evaluating both small and large joints, including the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and wrist.

Constructed from durable, transparent materials, the Hi-Res goniometer provides clear visibility of joint alignment, ensuring precise placement and measurement. It is widely used by physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and rehabilitation specialists for monitoring recovery, guiding treatment plans, and documenting patient outcomes.
