The Sta-Blok Head Immobilizer provides head immobilization quickly and easily. Laerdal’s most popular disposable head immobilizer, the Sta-Blok, is constructed of soft closed cell foam and hook and loop tape adhered head blocks. This also includes two straps for extra security during immobilization.

The adhesive on the bottom of the occipital pad allows providers to adhere the Sta-Blok before the patient is placed in the head immobilizer, or after the patient has been placed in the head immobilizer. The Sta-Blok can be used with nearly all spineboards and is completely disposable, which eliminates any need for extra cleaning.

All of Laerdal’s head immobilizers are latex free, radiolucent, MRI and CT- scan compatible.
