  • 3M™ Coban™ 2 Comfort Foam Layer is hypoallergenic and breathable
  • 3M™ Coban™ 2 Comfort Foam Layer protects the skin during compression therapy
  • 3M™ Coban™ 2 Comfort Foam Layer and 3M™ Coban™ 2 Compression Layers are packaged separately so clinicians can select and customize materials to meet the size and contour challenges of every patient. Each individual roll is clearly marked with either 1 or a 2, to indicate the order of application
  • 3M™ Coban™ 2 Comfort Foam Layer and 3M™ Coban™ 2 Compression Layers are latex free

3M™ Coban™ 2 Comfort Foam Layer consists of medical grade polyurethane foam laminated to a cohesive non-woven backing. Suggested Applications

  • For management of venous leg ulcers, lymphedema, chronic edema and other clinical conditions where compression is appropriate
How to apply

  • Unwind 12 or more inches of Coban wrap from the roll

Step 1. Unwind 12 or more inches of Coban wrap from the roll and allow the wrap to relax. It is important to unwind a sufficient length before beginning to wrap

  • Apply one full wrap and overlap

Step 2. Without stretching, apply one full wrap and overlap. Press overlapped area lightly to keep the end in place.

  • Continue wrapping - fully stretched length

Step 3. Continue wrapping - fully stretched length - applying tension to the wrap only to obtain desired compression.

  • Cut off excess wrap; press end to secure

Step 4. Cut off excess wrap; press end to secure. Remember to unwind more Coban wrap from the roll so that the product is not applied with too much tension
