Directions for use:
- Ensure the cylinder is upright
- Make sure the regulator dial is set to “0”
- Unwind the metal “T” screw until regulator can slide over post
- Line up the 2 pins on regulator with the 2 holes on the post
- Tighten “T” screw on the regulator until tight, but do not use force
- Attach tubing to nipple on regulator and other end to masks, cannulas, or BVMs
- Use the wrench to open the post on the cylinder to release the flow of oxygen (1 or 2 turns will suffice)
- Set the black dial on the regulator to the flow rate that is recommended by the doctor or EMS technician
- Start oxygen therapy
- When finished, shut off the main valve on post with wrench.
- Turn regulator dial back to “0”
