Neurodyn Aussie Sport is an electric current application equipment for applying electrical current via electrodes in direct contact with the patient. It is a transcutaneous neuromuscular stimulator which uses microcomputer technology, that is, it is controlled by a computer, and is operated by touch screen. All the information related to the parameters selected by the physiotherapist will be shown in the alphanumeric liquid crystal display. Neurodyn Aussie Sport stimulator produces AUSSIE CURRENT (also called Australian Current), a “new generation” of electrical current for stimulation with some advantages over the traditional methods of stimulation (Russian, Interferential, TENS, and FES). This technique is non-invasive and non-addictive, and it works without undesirable side effects.

• Completely adjustable to your patients' needs
• Easy to operate via touch screen
• Simultaneous, independent stimulation of four different areas possible

Options and stimulation modes:
There are four output channels with independent intensity controls which permit or not simultaneous stimulation of four different areas during a treatment section. Aussie current is a kind of sinusoidal current with carrier frequency of either 1.000Hz or 4.000Hz with burst duration of 4 ms or 2 ms, modulated in pulse trains (bursts) of variable frequency ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The stimulation can be provided in the following ways: Continuous Mode in which the sensation of stimulation is continuous and constant. Synchronized Mode (with ON, OFF, Rise and Decay ramps) in which the four channels operate at the same time, that is, synchronized. The sensation of stimulation is according to the time chosen in the ramps. Reciprocal Mode (with ON, OFF, Rise and Decay ramps) in which channels 1 and 3 operate alternately with channels 3 and 4. The sensation of stimulation follows the selected time chosen on the ramps. Pre- programmed protocols are available. The program just needs to be selected and, the intensity of the treatment needs to be defined.

Accessories accompanying the equipment:
1 detachable power cable
2 patient connection cables(each one with 4 wires and banana pins ends)
8 self-adhesive electrodes
1 operation manual CD
1 spare protection fuse 2A
1 gel tube (100 g)
1 carrying case (saphire line)

The use of cables, electrodes and other accessories different from those specified above may result in increased emission or decreased immunity of the equipment. The device and its characteristics may have alterations without being previously notified.
